Finals in Manchester in 2013. We also take part in the ‘EU Juvenes Translatores’ competition and Lucca Rolim received a ‘Special Mention’ in the EU Juvenes Translatores contest in November 2013. More than 3,000 pupils took part from all member states and whilst there was only one winner per country, other contestants were deemed to have also showed remarkable skill, and the examiners felt that Lucca fell into this category. Large numbers of Alleynians choose to take part in our trips and activities and their enthusiasm speaks for itself. ‘I’d never had tapas before, it was amazing!‘ ‘The dancing was my favourite, the teacher was brilliant!’ ‘Overall, I thought that the Language Passport clubs were a fantastic idea and those that didn’t attend missed out on a great experience.’
