What I did: I reviewed and validated medical records and medical bills, making sure they pass the criteria to be processed by Sentry Insurance and are directed to the correct departments, while working together with other associates. What I liked: I enjoyed seeing how a corporation is ran and the communication skills necessary to have a successful business. Future Dream Job: My dream job is to run my own marketing agency.
What I did: My internship actually took place at home (who wouldn’t want that kitten to be their everyday co-worker) and I Zoom with my boss and other coworker a few times a week. During my internship I assisted a team of two others with planning and executing four conferences with over 500 attendees each. My tasks ranged from: managing the conferences inbox (which included electronically filing confirmation emails and answering registration questions), creating and distributing electronically evaluations and certificates, and updating and creating the conference websites. What I liked: My favorite part about this internship was the people connections I made, whether that was the clients we are partnered with to plan the conferences or the attendees of the conferences. Future Dream Job: My dream job would be somewhere I can feel that I am helping people every day. I’m thinking somewhere in human resources, but have not quite decided if that is my dream job.
