What I did: I helped create marketing decks and business plans for new and upcoming alcohol companies. I created decks and worked with the various owners to ensure that they are done the way they would like and helped them create an image for their brand. For the business plans, I did research on the various trends and the new company and created a professional document that they would use to raise money to start their new business. What I liked: I enjoyed a lot about this internship, one thing being that I was being immersed in the business world and working with a variety of owners to create an image that they enjoyed. It was a very eye- opening experience that taught me a lot about how to work with what I have and ensure that I can get the right message across. Future Dream Job: My dream job is working for the Research and Development team at the Starbucks headquarters!

I liked that I was able to learn many new things with this internship. I was able to learn how to be more professional through various means of communication–especially through email, as I used this heavily in my job. I also liked the fact I got to be the one who interviews potential new hires. This allowed me to learn how to better interview, seeing it through the interviewer’s eyes. I also dealt with a lot of confidentiality and paperwork which gave me valuable experience. Future Dream Job: Right now, I don’t have that dream job in mind, but I know I want to be successful in life and working hard now will lead to good things in the future. I like to take life one step at a time and I don’t have a specific dream job, but I know I will find it some day.
