What I did: I assisted the teacher in the classroom in every day school and care activities. Sometimes I would lead class and also give the children their lunch. What I liked: I enjoyed that every day was a little different and going to work did not actually feel like work. It was great to go to work and not be miserable or have the day drag on. Future Dream Job: I am not sure what I want for my dream job, but I know I do not want a basic office job. I want to make a difference and do something that will make me feel proud of what I am doing. I thought the Marine Corps was exactly what I wanted, but I am going to find something else that gave me that sense of fulfillment.
What I did: My job involved data entry, project management and social media marketing. Every day was different as I took on any available projects–whether that be creating a post in InDesign, creating a press release or entering check information. What I liked: I like how I get to work with different departments and projects are quick and change from day-to-day so it’s always something new which is refreshing. Future Dream Job: My dream job is to work for a major video game developer and work as a social media marketing manager as I love marketing and video games are a great passion of mine!
