What I did: I worked heavily with customer engagement using Instagram, resulting in a higher following. I learned how to use Photoshop for digital marketing purposes. I also was able to have input into the company’s online presence, helping create effectiveness when it comes to attracting prospects. I completed a project where I was able to add a new section of business to our brand directory. What I liked: I really enjoyed having a laid-back and flexible work environment. My boss was a young and relatable entrepreneur who taught me the foundation to obtaining a digital mindset. I was treated as more of a friend than an employee which allowed us both to be open with one another from the start. Future Dream Job: My dream job is to be either a CEO or CMOs assistant. Another dream job of mine is to be a program manager for a marketing department or business.
What I did: I processed invoices and submitted them into our Accounts Payable software. I also balanced our undeposited cash account and closely observed the budgeting process with my supervisor and CEO as well as sat in on multiple financial Zoom meetings with various different YMCAs around the state. What I liked: The biggest thing I liked about interning here was the atmosphere that I felt as it was very welcoming and the office I worked in with my supervisor and her assistant was very fun. This made stressful work not so bad. Also, being able to get my foot in the door with learning more about the accounting for a nonprofit was a great experience. Future Dream Job: My dream job is to be a CFO of a large company or a top financial expert for an NFL or NBA team.
