D O N A T I O N L O T S
W e played on every sports team together growing up. Showed cattle against each other in 4-H. Did every summer Basketball Camp. We re-connected approx. a decade ago through the often-intertwined worlds of Seedstock and Rodeo. Since, we snapped each other almost daily. Often times, from the road. Denver, Madison, Bozeman, and anywhere along I-94 or I-29. Various sale barns we learned were good layover spots when hauling, some shared good humor, you name it. I couldn’t count the number of times I opened my phone to a message from him “Just met a JSF Trailer—that you or one of the crew?” Whenever we sent big groups to the West Coast, Bubba got the call. There’s no one else I’d rather have taking high value bulls and cows over the Mountain than Brandon Sedler. Every time he pulled out of the yard in a Bailey Pro Rodeo Semi & Bullrack, I’d say I was lucky to have famous friends. He’s come a helluva long ways since June 1. Just saw last night he’s now cleared to get behind the wheel of a Big Rig again. Truly incredible! Fargo ICU, Craig, CO, Omaha, NE he and Paula have endured and persevered. I hope they can be in Kathryn the evening of November 7th!
So...what do you do for a Donation Lot to a guy known in the Rodeo World as the “Bull Man?”
I’m going with donating semen on 2 of the most impactful Bulls to ever walk here-
Jake’s Reincarnation 228Y and Byland Cash 1RO86. There are less than 165 units remaining in existence on either of these bulls. In the last 2 years of our bull sales, Reincarnation has both sired the high seller, and, had a daughter raise one, who happens to be the World Record Selling Shorthorn Bull. How many bulls, of any breed, can claim that? I doubt any. When it comes to Cash, I haven’t ran a calculation recently but I’m almost certain his sons have averaged in excess of $13,500 through our barn over
the last 3 years, with one more set of direct sons to sell in January 2027.
