Klupica na Kalemegdanu Osim kao turistička atrakcija broj jedan, Kalemegdan će zauzeti visoku poziciju i na svakoj listi romantičnih mesta u Beo- gradu. Kao najromantičnije mesto na sa- moj tvrđavi nameće se usamljena klupica pored šetališta s direktnim pogledom na Ušće i zalazak sunca ako uhvatite mome- nat... Iz ove perspektive tačno se vidi me- sto gde se Dunav susreće sa Savom i gde nastavljaju da teku zauvek zagrljeni. Ina- če, postoji i legenda da će vam se ispuniti svaka ljubavna želja koju zamislite na me- stu gde se Sava uliva u Dunav, ali za to bi- ste verovatno morali na krstarenje. Ništa ne košta da pokušate i sa klupe koja gle- da na to mesto.
Kalemegdan Bench Apart from being the city’s number one tourist attraction, the Belgrade Fortress and Kalemegdan Park will also oc- cupy a high position on every list of Belgrade’s most ro- mantic locations and recommended spots for ‘first dates’. Standing out as its most romantic spot is the lone bench situated beside the promenade and offering a direct view of the confluence of Ušće, and the sunset too, provid- ed you catch the moment... From the perspective of this bench, you can see precisely where the Sava merges with the Danube, before the two continue on as one, for- ever entwined in their unbreakable embrace... Interesting- ly, one legend also claims that every loving wish you can imagine at the place where the Sava and Danube meet will come true, but to get to that precise spot you’d prob- ably have to take a river cruise, though there’s no harm in trying from the bench overlooking the spot.

Poezija Dorcola Svaki pisac je romantičar, a svaki pisac u Beo- gradu je svoj zanat usavršio u nekoj od brojnih dorcolskih kafana. Jedna od najstarijih četvrti u gradu, područje starog grada ima reputaciju kao omiljeno okupljalište intelektualaca i akademika. Ovo čini Dorcol domom poezije u srpskoj pre- stonici, a šetnja po komšiluku trebalo bi da bude na vrhu liste svakog buduceg Kazanove. One of the city’s oldest neigh- bourhoods, this quarter of the old town has a reputation as the favourite meeting spot for intel- lectuals and academics. This makes Dorćol the home of poetry in the Serbian capital, and a stroll around the neighbourhood should be top of the list for every budding Casanova.

Kosančić’s Wreath This oldest part of the city beyond the walls of Kalemegdan was once filled with boarding hous- es, workshops and retail shops, and a large part of that heritage has survived to this day. This neigh- bourhood is home to the “Question Mark”, the old- est tavern in the city and a popular spot for roman- tic dinners. The cobblestones of this outstanding quarter are overlooked by many of Belgrade’s most important buildings, so don’t miss taking a romantic stroll through its beautiful streets.
