S eason 3 concluded not only with Tom’s “God- father”-esque betrayal, but also with Ken- dall, Shiv and Roman uniting in the wake of Kendall’s manslaughter confession. And, what now? Following the dramatic finale, we were left wanting so many answers. However, luckily, those answers are coming soon… Release date The first episode of Succession Season 4 will pre- miere on HBO on 26 th March. The announcement fi- nally put to bed plenty of speculation about when it could be, following a vague spring release window giv- en back in October, during a brief (but very dramatic) teaser that aired during the finale of Season 1 of House of the Dragon on HBO. Asked when the series could come to an end, the show’s boss, Jesse Armstrong, said emphatically “I won’t answer that one precisely. I don’t think it should go on forever, but we’re still hav- ing fun at the moment”. Meanwhile, executive producer Georgia Pritchett said that the show won’t go beyond a potential fifth run: “I think the maximum would be five seasons, but possibly more like four”. Could this really be the end? What will happen? According to the official synopsis: “In the 10-epi- sode season four, the sale of media conglomerate Way- star Royco to Lukas Matsson moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys, as they antic- ipate what their lives will look like once the deal is done. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed...” Though a brief summary, it’s pretty obvious that there’s only one thing for it with Succession season four: all-out war. With Logan selling out his family and agreeing to a buyout of Waystar Royco, a major piece of what keeps him going will no longer be there. So, what will he do instead? Perhaps his super-conniv- ing move to sell Waystar to Matsson might not be the Hail Mary he thought it was. On that note, what will become of Shiv, Roman and Kendall now they’ve been left with nothing but each other to get them through this rough patch in their lives? All the key players have been let down by their most significant other. With Shiv, Tom has left her dead in the water – not that he realises she knows this. We’re pretty sure she won’t take that betrayal lying down... For Roman, the only person he seemingly confided in, Few television dramas have united the world like Succession, a series that was declared the best of 2022 and secured its fourth Emmy

Gerri, has turned her back on him for the sake of her own interests. Then there’s Kendall, who’s hanging on to his mental health by a very, very thin thread. Sea- son 4 will see the siblings forced to come up with their next power play before it’s too late. Either way, it’s go- ing to be messy. On the plus side, it seems there will be one reason to celebrate (if you see it that way), as it appears as though Connor will marry his other half, Willa.Good luck with that one. Who’s returning? Considering that the family is now at war, it’s high- ly likely that we can expect all the major players to re- turn. Team Logan now seemingly consists of the big man himself (Brian Cox), allies Tom Wambsgans (Mat- thew Macfadyen) and Cousin Greg (Nicholas Braun). There’s also the surprise addition of his ex-wife, Caro- line (Harriet Walter), who sold out her children in the Season 3 finale. Then there’s the new team comprising Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Sarah Snook) and Ro- man (Kieran Culkin). It’s not yet known which team will be joined by eldest son Connor (Alan Ruck), but at least he’ll have his new fianceé Willa (Justine Lupe) in tow. Alexander Skarsgård’s Lukas Mattson has also been confirmed – which makes sense considering the utter chaos he’s caused the family.

Još nije poznato uz koju ce stranu stati najstariji sin Konor (Alan Ruk), ali ce bar imati svoju novu verenicu Vilu (Džastin Lup). Lukas Matson Aleksandra Skarsgarda je ta- kođe potvrđen – što ima smisla, s obzirom na pot- puni haos koji je izazvao u porodici.

Što se tiče Romana, jedina oso- ba kojoj se naizgled poverio, Geri, okrenula mu je leđa zarad sopstvenih interesa. Zatim, tu je Kendal čije mentalno zdravlje visi na veoma, ve- oma tankoj niti. U četvrtoj sezoni ce braca i sestre morati da smisle svoju sledecu igru pre nego što bude pre- kasno. U svakom slučaju, bice prljavo. Sa pozitiv- ne strane, čini se da ce postojati jedan razlog za slavlje (ako ga tako vidite) jer se čini da ce Ko- nor se oženiti svojom drugom polovinom Vilom... Srecno sa tim.
