Do glavnog grada Egip- ta srpska nacionalna avio-kompanija leteće tri puta nedeljno, svakog ponedeljka, srede i petka, dok će se letovi iz Kaira do srpske prestonice realizovati utor- kom, četvrtkom i subotom. – Kultura i istorija Egipta privla- če veliku pažnju turista širom sveta, a specifična klima učinila je zemlju faraona atraktivnom tokom čitave godine. Prateći potrebe putnika u Srbiji, ali i u širem regionu Balkana, odlučili smo da uvedemo redov- nu direktnu liniju između Beogra- da i Kaira. Letove do glavnog grada Egipta naša kompanija obavljala je od leta 2019. godine i drago nam je što ćemo sada biti u prilici da pono- vo spojimo dve prijateljske zemlje – izjavio je Boško Rupić, direktor ko- mercijale i strategije Er Srbije. Uvođenjem direktnih letova iz- među Beograda i Kaira, putnicima
koji lete iz tog grada preko Beogra- da dostupne su dobre avio-ve- ze do Amsterdama, Berlina, Barija, Pariza, Diseldorfa, Rima, Londo- na, Ljubljane, Madrida, Milana, Pra- ga, Tivta, Beča, Ciriha, Zagreba i mnogih drugih destinacija u mre- ži Er Srbije. Smešten pored Nila, glav- ni grad Egipta nikada ne spava. U toj dinamičnoj metropoli prožimaju se različite religije i kulture, o čemu svedoče neke od najpoznatijih zna- menitosti Kaira, poput ulice Al Muiz, džamije Amr ibn al As, koptske Vi- seće crkve i Manastira Svetog Si- meona. Neizostavni deo boravka u gradu na Nilu jeste poseta Gizi, obi- lazak piramida i Egipatskog muze- ja, kao i gradskih četvrti Zamalek i Maadi. Ljubitelji muzike zasigurno će uživati u Kairskoj operi, a gastro- nomi u brojnim restoranima lokalne i internacionalne kuhinje.
The Serbian national airline is set to start operating fli- ghts to the Egyptian capital three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, while flights along the return leg will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. “The culture and history of Egypt garner a lot of attention among tourists around the globe, and a specific climate makes the country of the pharaohs attractive throughout the entire year. By liste- ning to the needs of passengers in Serbia, as well as the broader Bal- kan region, we have decided to in- troduce scheduled direct flights between Belgrade and Cairo. Our company has been operating fli- ghts to the capital of Egypt since the
summer of 2019, and we are glad that we now have the opportuni- ty to reconnect these two friend- ly countries,” stated Boško Rupić, Air Serbia General Manager, Commer- cial and Strategy. With the introduction of direct flights between Belgrade and Cairo, passengers flying from the Egyptian capital via Belgrade are able to ac- cess good flight connections to Amsterdam, Berlin, Bari, Paris, Du- sseldorf, Rome, London, Ljubljana, Madrid, Milan, Prague, Tivat, Vienna, Zurich, Zagreb and other destinati- ons in the Air Serbia network. Located beside the River Ni- le, Egypt’s capital is a city that never sleeps. Different religions and cul- tures permeate this dynamic me-
tropolis, as evidenced by some of Cairo‘s most famous sights, su- ch as al-Muizz Street, the Amr ibn al-As Mosque, the Coptic Hanging Church and the Monastery of St. Simeon. When visiting this city on the Nile, be sure to take time to he- ad to Giza, make a tour of the pyra- mids and the Egyptian Museum, as well as the city districts of Zama- lek and Maadi. Music lovers will cer- tainly enjoy the Cairo Opera House, while foodies will enjoy the many re- staurants offering local and interna- tional cuisine.
