Ireland’s market leader in heating controls has made a major investment into new purpose-built headquarters in Cork. Positioning the thriving firm for its next phase of growth, EPH Controls’ new 60,000sqft site has been finished to world-class standards. Offering the space and amenities to enhance its development of innovative, market-leading products, alongside a new training facility for contractors and customers, the new HQ is conveniently located on the South Link Road in Cork City. Three decades of innovation The investment comes as EPH Controls approaches its 30th anniversary. Founded in 1997 by Managing Director Trevor Casey, the business was initially focused on heating controls for commercial, industrial and pharmaceutical applications as the sole agent in
Ireland for Swiss brand SAUTER. General Manager Paul Mulcahy joined in 2005, around the same time the firm diversified into residential heating controls. Making inroads into the burgeoning Irish housing market with a portfolio of unique products and with market-leading USPs, the firm forged ahead with the launch of its own brand of residential controllers, motorised valves and thermostats in 2008. “In 2012, we opened our UK office and built a team over there, while 2016 was another big year for us as we launched our heating control app, EMBER, which is now very popular in Ireland and the UK,” says Paul. “In the time since then, we’ve expanded the range dramatically with products suited for all types of heating systems.” Key launches over the years have included the DETACH PRO motorised valves with detachable power cables and actuators, CP4 series RF
