South Press is a multi-layer pipe and fittings range introduced by South Coast Sales, a leading supplier of water and heating management solutions in Ireland. WRAS approved and manufactured to a high standard aligned with South Coast Sales’ passion for plumbing, the South Press range is designed for potable water, plumbing and heating applications and can be used in both domestic and commercial settings. Made from CW617N brass with stainless steel press sleeves and EPDM ‘O’ rings in ‘TH’ profile, the fittings come in sizes 16mm, 20mm, 26mm and 32mm. Also WRAS approved, the South Press range of multi-layer composite pipe features five layers comprising an inner and outer PEX-b layer and a central aluminium layer, bonded together by two adhesive layers. The aluminium layer is butt welded to
give a complete oxygen barrier seal, with the pipe system coming with a 10-year warranty and a 50-year-plus design life. Founded in Cork in 1990, South Coast Sales is Ireland’s sole importer and distributor of Philmac products and offers an extensive range including plumbing products, pump spares and universal transition couplings for joining lead, copper, galvanised steel, stainless steel and PVC to each other or any PE and MDPE pipes.
