W E take great pleasure in giving to our friends the good news of the coming to our fellowship in the In stitute of Rev. Joseph W. Kemp, pastor of

early in October at the fall opening o f our school in the new building. Mr. Kemp has had a successful pastorate of twelve years’ duration in the Edinburgh church. Upon taking up his work there he found a disorganized church in a discour aged condition. Within a year a great change was wrought and the influence of the man was felt throughout the city. His church now numbers more than a thou sand members and has an organization sel dom equalled. Mr. Kemp is considered one of the best preachers in Britain and is in large demand for conference and convene tion addresses. He is a soul winning pas tor and in that respect has an unsurpassed record in Edinburgh. Mr. Kemp is also a remarkable Bible teacher and as such comes to us with those qualifications which will make him a valued acquisition to our teach ing force. In his own church several hun dred persons are now studying the Bible systematically and in his correspondence course, several thousand persons in differ ent lands are registered students. , He will have a hearty welcome here and we bespeak in his behalf the earnest prayers of all our friends. day. God bless you and all the Institute friends. Sincerely yours. W m . E. B lackstone .
