then wrapped up venue visits at the Central Hotel, where owner Larry shared exciting renovation updates and plans for the historic pub. The trip concluded with a highly successful Gateway to Growth event in Strahan, bringing together hospitality operators, local businesses, corporate partners and Hospitality Tasmania board members for an evening of networking, collaboration and conversation about the region’s future. To top it all off, the team at Strahan Village ensured everyone ended the day in comfort, showcasing their beautifully renovated rooms and breathtaking harbour views. The roadshow highlighted exactly why the West Coast continues to be one of Tasmania’s most special hospitality destinations – rich in character, full of passionate operators and always ready with a warm welcome. Our next roadshow will unfold across several days on the East Coast in mid-July, and we are looking forward to engaging with industry in this region!
