Tasmanian Hospitality Review - June/July 2026

Industry Engagement Update

The year certainly hasn’t slowed down for the North West, with many hospitality and tourism venues continuing to engage with Hospitality Tasmania’s membership team across the region. It has been wonderful to see such strong enthusiasm, collaboration, and passion for the industry from operators right across the coast. We were excited to welcome several fantastic new members to Hospitality Tasmania in recent months. First onboard was Mrs. Jones Restaurant, Bar and Lounge in Devonport. Positioned beautifully on the waterfront bluff, Mrs. Jones offers a truly memorable dining experience featuring delicious, beautifully crafted meals, breathtaking coastal views, and stunning architectural design that perfectly blends elegance with relaxed coastal charm. Guests can even watch the Spirit of Tasmania stretching her legs across the coastline while dining.

We also warmly welcomed Love Lucy Boots in Westbury. Nestled within an original 1870s cottage, this boutique Wine Room celebrates the very best of Tassie life through community, coffee, wine, and hospitality. Whether you are a local or traveller passing through, Love Lucy Boots invites everyone to pull up a stool and become part of their welcoming “Milk Crate Community”.

Joining shortly after was Lanigan’s at Rocky Cape. Family-owned and operated, Lanigan’s Vineyard showcases some of Tasmania’s finest offerings - elegant wines, handcrafted cheeses, and warm hospitality - all set against a stunning coastal backdrop near Rocky Cape National Park. With panoramic views stretching toward The Nut at Stanley, it is an experience that captures the essence of North West Tasmania.
