INUKA InTouch - SQ2 2020

KHANYISWA XANDE EASTERN CAPE NEW DIAMOND LEADER

I joined the business on the 1 March 2019. After only 6 months in the business I became a Diamond Leader.

To those who have started the business, remember your ‘why’ and that will keep you going. Build your team before you move to the next status. Work like your whole life depends on the business. Read your INUKA Business Guide, so that you don’t miss any challenge that comes your way.

When I joined the business, I had a new-born baby who was only 8 days old at the time but that didn’t stop me from chasing and believing in my dream. My two girls are the reason I wake up and hustle every day. They are my motivation.

If I can do it from the street of Idutywa, why not YOU!

What was your biggest challenge to reaching your Diamond Leadership Status

What habits helped make you successful

My challenge was balancing my INUKA Business and caring for my two beautiful girls. It was not easy at all. Sleepless nights and reaching out to my INUKA Mentor to guide and mentor me on how to do proper planning with my team helped me on this journey.

On a daily basis I leave home around 8am and come back at 5pm. Even through I am an entrepreneur and my own boss, I invest at least 9 hours a day in my INUKA Business. • Set targets for myself, work extra hard, go the extra mile and work towards reaching my goals. • Be teachable and take every advice that you get seriously. • Be ambitious and have faith that you will make it no matter what. • Do not lose focus when things don’t go your way. • Vuka, ugeze, uzikape, ubangene! (Wake up, wash, get dressed and show up)

What is your advice to someone who wants to achieve Diamond Leadership Status

The advice I can give to someone who is working towards becoming a Diamond Leader is to sit down with your team, write everything down, be a team player and be dedicated.

How has your INUKA Business changed your life

INUKA has changed my life so much. From being unemployed to doing INUKA full time. I am so excited about my business because it has not only changed my life but everyone around me. To me INUKA is a family business, it has

created opportunities not just for me only but for my community as well. I am LIVING MY BEST LIFE.

I am a single mom and through INUKA I can afford to pay cash for my children’s school fees and be able to save up for their education in the future. I wear my INUKA T-shirt with pride because it has put bread on my table. YOUR SUCCESS IS IN YOUR HANDS, IT DEPENDS ON YOU. GRAB EVERY OPPORTUNITY THAT YOU GET WITH BOTH HANDS AND YOU WILL MAKE IT.
