Venture into the agricultural heartland of South America, where farmers meet farmers, share information, and talk challenges, successes, and
strategy. Our journey begins in Buenos Aires with a sightseeing tour of the city’s famous landmarks and unique neighborhoods. We’ll then delve into Argentina’s agriculture industry with a full day of visits to top agricultural institutions, including AACREA (Argentine Association of Regional Consortiums for
Agricultural Experimentation), ArgenTrigo, and Maizar. Buenos Aires is also home to the Liniers Livestock Market, where we’ll watch the cattle auctions that heavily influence the national prices for livestock. From Buenos Aires, we’ll head south to Mar del Plata for three nights. The area offers plenty of opportunities to visit farms dedicated to commercial grain, mixed crops and dairy, no-till farming, seedstock cattle, and pedigree Hereford cattle, plus meet with representatives
