Living Roof Birdhouse Hills Bank in Cedar Rapids (3905 Blairs Ferry Rd NE) Monday, April 29, 1:00-4:00 p.m.

Bring the beauty of art and nature together by painting a locally made wren house with your choice of design. As the paint is drying, we will make a seed packet using recycled paper and seeds of flowers that will attract important pollinators such as butterflies and honey bees. For the final step of the workshop we will add hardy sedum plants to the top of the birdhouse. Cost per person is $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Register with a Friends Club representative at 319-679-2103 or FriendsClub@HillsBank.com. Spring Blooms! Flowers in Art and Making Art Flowers Hills Bank in North Liberty (590 W Forevergreen Rd) Tuesday, April 30, 2:00 p.m. Join Amanda Lensing, Senior Living Communities Program Coordinator at the University of Iowa Stanley Museum of Art, in welcoming spring!
