Bill Gempp has joinedARC International as the North- eastern Technical Representative. A 25-year industry
veteran, Gempp started his career as a manufacturer’s rep and then joined Sun Automation, a global corrugated equipment supplier, as Southeast- ern sales rep in 2003. He was VP of Eastern US sales for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries from 2009 until 2015 and most recently was VP of sales for the Americas at Absolute Engineering. Nilpeter USA Richard Hernandez has been named West Coast Regional Representative for Nilpeter USA.Hernandez has spent the last 3 years in the region provid- ing sales and service for an industry leading supplier. Previously, in a con- verter capacity, he built his career in production and plant management responsible for all production control and supply chain requirements.

APTech Seeks Nomination For Its Board Of Directors The Association for PRINT Technologies (APTech) is seeking nominations of qualified individuals to serve on its Board of Directors.Members of the Board repre- sent APTech and are advocates for its mission and ac- tivities, with responsibilities for governance and lead- ership of the organization’s programs and activities. The APTech Board comprises of representatives from all aspects of the print industry value chain, including manufacturers, suppliers and print service providers. Since opening up association membership to print service providers, and including printers on the Board, print service providers have been integral in providing a 360-degree view of the state of the industry and in col- laboration with the manufacturers and supplier board members, together they have helped charter the course for the future of the organization and the print industry. Nominees for the Board of Directors must be em- ployed by an APTech member organization. Candi- dates will be elected on the ballot to be distributed by August 18, with elections being held during the An- nual Meeting of the Association to take place during PRINT19 in Chicago, Illinois, at McCormick Place North from October 3-5.
