SD&G Developmental Services has been a great help to our family. Our first son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at 18 months old; that was when I was first put in contact with their services. They gave us ways to help our son while we waited for more intensive therapy from CHEO. They have also been great at helping us find respite programs available. When our son was in real need of safety equipment they helped our family access it when we were not able to. Aside from all of that the wor- kers have the children’s and family’s best in- terest at heart. They are great listeners and do everything to help when they can. Now that our second child has been diagnosed with a Global Developmental Delay and at risk for Autism they have been a familiar helping hand. They have provided therapy and close monitoring of his development so he doesn’t fall too far behind. Without their services a lot of families would have nowhere to turn. We are grateful for their help and I hope others are too.
