T he Harley Earl designed 1937 Cadillac LaSalle is now considered a staple of Art Deco design. The low slung and swooping Caddy was designed to be a mid-priced luxury car and was introduced in 1934. This particular LaSalle convertible was bought in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, from the Berkshire Auto Group in 1937. The car remained in the original owner’s hands until 1966 when Richard Scace bought the car. Richard and family (including his son Daniel who now owns the car) used it to cruise around town, in parades, and occasional shows.
