Young Christian Salyers from Bakersfield, CA, was still finishing up his ’79 Chevy Camaro Z28, and won an “ISCA Pick.” The Second Gen F-body runs 5.7-liter LS power, a Tremec 5-speed, a Detroit Speed-based chassis, and 18/19-inch Schott wheels.
Daniel Johnson homebuilt his “Nick’s Pick” winning ’65 GMC C-10 dually using dropped spindles up front, a flip kit in the rear, a 350/700R4 powertrain, Icon dually wheels with wide white rubber, and a flannel-based interior.
Bakersfield’s own Kevin Page picked up the “One Fine Wagon” award for his ’56 Chevy that sits on a RideTech suspension, spins Foose wheels with crate motor RamJet 350 power, and has a two-tone leather interior in tan over cream.
