In the past, if your tooth was damaged and needed repair with a crown, the dentist would make a messy, manual impression, which most patients find unpleasant. Then, they would ship that impression off to a lab to construct a crown that perfectly matched your teeth. In the meantime, you would receive a temporary crown to avoid further damage to the tooth — but its non- customized fit would require specialized care and a modified diet, plus pose a risk of coming loose. With new technology from Glidewell and E4D, all of that has changed. Using 3D computer processes, one of our dentists can now make a digital model of your teeth and create the perfect crown in-office. The dentist can then try the crown in your mouth to evaluate its appearance and fit and make minor adjustments. Once everything is perfectly in place, the dentist will bond the crown to your tooth, and you’ll leave the office looking good as new. If you’re ready for your brightest smile ever in 2022, give our office a call today. Our doctors are cosmetic dentistry experts and have given countless patients the smiles of their dreams. We offer free consultations and would love the opportunity to show you what we can achieve with same-day dentistry.
