The Greenville Cup – Wednesday, September 23, Wilmington Country Club This event is open to club tournament champions in which seven players and the Director of Golf from Wilmington Country Club play similar teams from Bidermann Golf Club and Fieldstone Golf Club. Each two-person team will post a net better-ball score. The top three better-ball scores from each club will comprise that club’s team score. If the club champions cannot play, other players may be invited. The team will be composed of the following:

President of Women’s 18-Hole Golf Association Player chosen by the Executive Committee

If needed, another player will be chosen from among the runners-up in the Club Championship, the President's Cup, or the Memorial Better-Ball. The Solheim Cup This is a club-sponsored competition between two teams and all rounds are match play. Participation is open to all WCC women members who have a handicap. Teams will be formed based on handicaps, with a maximum number of strokes of 36. At a cocktail party held on the evening prior to the event, the teams will be revealed. The first-round consists of 18 holes in which 9 holes are played in a better ball of partners format and 9 holes are played using an alternate shot format. The second round is a 9-hole scramble format followed by 9 holes of individual match-play. Each match is worth 1 point.

DUES AND ELIGIBILITY

Dues Dues pay for prizes in weekly events and prizes in major tournaments. Dues do not cover cart fees for any events.Annual dues are $100.00 plus handicap fees. Dues for existing members are charged in January. If you no longer want to be a part of the 18-Hole Association, notify Mindy Blumetti (mblumetti@wilmingtoncc.com) in Accounting. If a member chooses to resign after her dues have been paid but before the golf season begins (April 1), she must notify the Club prior to March 31 for reimbursement. New members who choose to join between January 1 and July 1 will be charged the full annual amount. New members who join after July 1 will be charged one-half the annual dues, regardless of their start date.
