inches across the top. When the paper is unfolded, it will have eight creases and be divided into eight equal parts. Place one crease at the top. Five- eighths of an inch from the top on this crease, cut a round hole 1 inch in diameter. Five-eighths of an inch from the bottom on this crease, cut out a heart 1%. inches wide and 1 % inches high. On the creases to the right and left of the first round hole, cut two other like holes. Under the hole to the left write “ First Place” ; under the middle one “ Second Place” and under the third “ Third Place.” Run a rivet through the centers of this paper and the cardboard. Inside the first hole write “ God” on the card board; in the second “ Others” and in the third “ Self.” Write “ Peace” and “ Happiness” in the space uncovered by the heart. Turn the paper to the right until the word “ Others” is in first place. “ Self” will be in second place. The -word “ God” will need to be printed in third place. Write “ Un selfish” and “ Unhappy” in the heart. Turn the paper to the right until “ Self” is in first place and “ God” in second place. Write “ Others” in third place. Write “ Selfish” and “ Fear” in the heart.) LESSON: I want to give you some hints as to how you may have a happy heart. If I spin this wheel, it will tell us the secret. Notice what hap pens when “ Self” is in first place.
Object Lessons continued need of God’s guidance, even though they may not realize the need. We should remember that in speaking to us, God often uses things we might consider small. Often a whisper will attract more attention than shouting. Did you ever see the wind? Now think carefully. You have seen the effect of the' wind—what the wind does. You cannot see the breath which comes out of my mouth, but if your hand were as close as mine, you could feel it. Or if you were near to this mirror, you could see the effect of one’s breath on the glass. As I blow my breath toward this lighted candle, it affects the flame. If I were to blow too strongly, the flame would go out. You do not hear my breath, but you see the effect of it on the flame. Notice what happens when I blow against this windmill. It turns very rapidly. The breath is unseen and unheard, yet the windmill feels the effect of it. It is not necessary that you be guided in the same way as Abraham’s servant.

“ God” and “ Others” take second and third place, and the heart has “ Self ish” and “ Fear” in it. We will see what happens when “ Others” are in first place; “ Self” and “ God” are in second and third place. Though the heart is “Unselfish,” it is “Unhappy.” We will give “ God” first place, and now “ Others” have second place and “ Self” has third place. Is it any won der that “ Peace” and “Happiness” are in the heart? Note Genesis 26:17-25. I think Isaac had discovered the secret of putting God first, others second and self last, for he had peace when he built an altar to God and allowed others to have the wells of water, refusing to fight for them.
