Canyoning: a summer sport for adventurers

This relatively new sport combines aspects of swimming, scrambling and rappelling to explore canyons, gorges, waterfalls and other hard- to-reach locations. Most excursions are led by qualified guides and involve jumping from cliffs, descending natural slides and swimming through streams and rivers. exercise while enjoying the outdoors.
This water sport is great for families, and most locations offer tours that are suitable for both children and adults. In most cases, the necessary equipment is provided on site, but you’ll have to bring your own bathing suit and shoes.
