I have volunteered at shelters feeding the homeless, presented in schools and did voluntary translation work in IsiZulu for US Museums. Ndebele, who’s been in Pennsylvania for seven months now, plans to return home to continue teaching at a South African school and to add value to the country’s education system. He is currently married to his varsity sweetheart Duduzile Maseko who also studied BCom Accounting at UJ.

a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Mid- Year Conference, which included 250 FLTAs from 50 countries and territories, teaching 32 languages and they were given a platform to share stories of their teaching experience at U.S. host institutions, and provided insights, techniques, and lessons learned for language teaching in both the traditional and virtual classroom settings. Ndebele adds: I have been involved with the community of Philadelphia as a South African cultural ambassador, sharing my story as a South African teacher.

Clayville teaching and in management. At the end of 2021 he received a Fulbright Scholarship for the Foreign Language Teacher Assistant (FLTA) Programme. Out of over 300 applicants, Ndebele was one of three educators who won the scholarship to teach at the Ivy League Universities in the USA. He explains: I was placed at the University of Pennsylvania where I have been assisting in instructing the IsiZulu course in Elementary and Intermediate phase, and doing courses at the Graduate School of Education (UPennGSE).
