Les participants au concours auront la chance de remporter des prix considérables tels que des cours avec l’École de chantMar- tine Parisien, l’enregistrement d’un démo avecHarrison LoungeMusic Productions et finalement, un voyage à Las Vegas.
Le concours est organisé depuis 2014, dans le cadre du Festival du canard et de la plume de Saint-Isidore. YanikGosselin, de Rockland, avait remporté le concours lors de la première édition et agira comme juge en 2016, alors que l’anpassé, c’était la jeune chanteuse Josée Patenaude, originaire de Saint-Isidore, qui avait remporté la première place. Cette année, Les voix de Prescott-Russell et Glengarry sera animé par Brian St-Pierre, Le concours sera séparé en deux parties. Dans un premier temps, les juges choisiront à l’aveuglette les candidats qui passeront à la prochaine étape. Les gagnants des de-
mi-finales et de la finale seront cependant choisis de façon «normale» plus tard dans la journée.
Le comité organisateur du concours Les voix de Prescott-Russell et Glengarry est à la recherche de participants pour la troisième édition du concours qui se tiendra à l’aréna de Saint-Isidore, le samedi 11 juin prochain. Les gens de tous âges, ayant une certaine affinité pour le chant et désirant partager leurs talents avec la communauté, sont priés d’envoyer leur candidature, audio ou vidéo, par courriel, à lesvoixdepr@gmail.comavant la date limite du 22 avril.
