The Blog section of the site will be a very important area of this website. “This is where we cultivate future radio show hosts,” he says. “There are a lot of talented fisher- men and aspiring outdoor writers who do not have an avenue to get their message

HAWKESBURY | Fishing promoter Reno Viola is casting a wider net, trying to cap- ture a larger audience with a new radio station and Internet site. Viola, who has been vaunting the Hawkesbury area fishery for years, has launched the WRVO Radio Network, “the newest and most progressive Internet ra- dio network.” WRVO Radio Network and its compan- ion website were designed to provide a complete one-stop information and en- tertainment source for fishing and the outdoors. The network broadcasts live 24 hours a day and has a separate on demand podcast or download section on wrvora- dio.com in case you miss the live feed. WRVO is the home of many radio shows from all sectors of the fishing world, with hosts talking about pan fish in Ontario to deep sea monsters in Australia and all plac- es and topics in between. Currently there are nine producers on air with that number climbing to 20 by this summer and 30 by the end of the year. The program format is “talk and information;” each show is from 20 minutes to two hours in length, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can hear the Network anywhere Worldwide onTUNEIN Radio and Shoutcast Radio with free apps on your smartphone or you can listen live on your computer at www.wrvoradio.com. The full network and individual programs are also available on all social media sites, ITunes, Soundcloud and Speaker Radio. By summer of 2013 the companionWeb- site for WRVO Radio will feature 60 live in- field cameras on locations at various fish- ing tournament weigh-in and event sites so that the WRVO web audience can view the live weigh-in action from anywhere that houses a participating organization. Initially, the focus will be on Ontario bass tournaments. Over time the camera feed will be available all over North America. The WRVO Radio website will feature the radio network as well as product video, tourna- ment information, updates and blogs. The Product Video section is where you will be able to go to view the latest fishing products and techniques.
