PROCURE PLUS HOLDINGS PPH, comprising Procure Plus, Re:Vision and OSCO Homes in 2017, were awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promoting Opportunity Through Social Mobility, for its innovative approach to procurement. Procure Plus Specialising in the procurement of goods and services for the social housing sector, PPH generates a surplus that funds training programmes within its clients’ communities. This surplus is achieved through an intelligent approach to procurement that means its customers pay between 15-20% better rates. A nominal 1% of these nancial savings are then combined with exemplary social value, engaging with appropriate agencies and local Social Enterprises. PPH was recognised in 2017 with The Queens Award in the Promoting Opportunity (Through Social Mobility), for its sustained support for those who are furthest from the job market. In the last 9 years it has helped more than 1,500 people into sustainable employment. Osco Homes OSCO Homes is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Procure Plus that was created to oer a new, fairer way of delivering homes. Osco Homes’ properties are constructed through innovative modular building methods using light gauge steel panels that are assembled in a factory, based in HMP Hindley, and delivered to site fully nished externally. As well as streamlining the construction process and build times, the o-site manufacturing process reduces costs, allowing the company to pass on these savings directly to the purchaser. When forging agreements with housing providers, Osco Homes also ensures the build programme incorporates employment and training opportunities that lead to tangible social and economic benets for the wider community.
