AC PLC

AC PLC was founded in 1987 by CEO Andrew Laing, as a specialist ooring contractor intent on establishing itself in the market as a brand synonymous with quality, safety and delivery. From humble beginnings, the AC Group now comprises several divisions, operating throughout the UK and Europe. This success has been achieved by retaining its original mission statement of providing unrivalled service and delivery for its diverse clientele. Since 1994, AC has based its headquarters in Beancroft Road, Bedfordshire. Built on the successful delivery of projects the breadth of the UK, AC’s turnover grew to £12.2m in 2008, starting the meteoric rise to where the company is today. Not content with domestic success, AC looked to the future, securing international projects in Spain and Trinidad shortly thereafter. AC Waterproong was then established as a UK-based roong and waterproong specialist, capable of delivery to the standards synonymous with AC’s brand. The waterproong division quickly expanded, with turnover increasing from £1m to £10m within 18 months. In 2014, AC was awarded the roong package on a Data Centre Project in the Netherlands. This project, on behalf of Mace, was part of a larger campus development being constructed by Microsoft. The successful completion of this project in 2015 actioned the monumental expansion of the company from a UK contractor into an international specialist façade and interiors contractor, capable of delivering projects exceeding £50m across Europe and beyond. AC operates across several campuses, with projects situated in Denmark, Ireland and the Netherlands being delivered on behalf of the most innovative technology companies in the world. As of January 2017, AC has secured projects in London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Munich, working with one of the

Founded in 2005, with the aim of adding technical expertise to the supply of dicult-to- source structural components for commercial aircraft, this award for international trade is in recognition of Airline Component Services’ outstanding continuous growth in overseas sales over the past six years, which has seen a rise of over 600%. As a globally respected supplier of aircraft components, ACS specialises in the supply of aircraft ying controls and structural components, leaning heavily on the unique aviation experience of its executive team. Added to the organisation in 2013, ACS Aviation Industries is an EASA 145, FAR 145, TCCA-approved repair station specialising in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of all Boeing and Airbus structural components. With overseas sales rising from 15% to 27% of turnover, the company has targeted further growth in the European market to consolidate its success to date.
