AllStar® Pro reusable pen injector.
This has led to award-winning global products such as the SoloSTAR insulin pen for Sano Aventis. Most recently, DCA partnered with Sano to design and develop the AllStar® Pro reusable pen injector, intended to help people living with diabetes across European markets. Other recently released medical work includes creating a future vision for the industrial design and usability of the Elekta Unity, the only magnetic resonance radiation therapy (MR/RT) system that integrates a MRI scanner with an advanced linear accelerator to create a new paradigm for ‘hard to treat’ cancer care. DCA’s Transport sector has seen signi cant launches for global companies, including designing the passenger interiors and driver’s cab for the new Hitachi Class 800 UK Intercity trains to successfully meet the requirements of a multi- stakeholder driven project within the constraints of a Government-led procurement process. Most recently, our transport team has designed the Navigator, a new agship coach for China’s Xiamen Golden Dragon Company. Our Consumer team is recognised as a global leader in FMCG and consumer healthcare design, with many signi cant launches for some of the world’s leading brands, including RB’s Airwick, Veet and Scholl brands, GSK’s Sensodyne and Aquafresh oral care brands and Unilever’s Lynx, Sure and Dove deodorant brands. The team has also had export success with two US start-up companies. DCA helped APS develop MiniMist, an innovative technology and cost competitive construction approach to produce a propellant-
free, mist-like spray with a signi cantly lower carbon footprint than aerosols, while for LifeFuels, we helped create the world’s rst connected, portable drink maker that can create a personalised nutritional drink wherever life takes you.
