W O R L D - W I D E B I B L E R E A D I N G “The Word of Power for a Power Age” is the timely theme selected for the 1946 World-wide Bible Reading program, Thanksgiving to Christmas, according to an announcement just made public by the American Bible Society. The text for the theme has been taken from Zechariah 4:6, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” The reading schedule itself will feature “Spiritual Pioneers” of the Bible.
