Requirements: Three-year college diploma in civil engineering technology or architecture with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field. Member or eligibility of becoming a member of the Ontario Association of Civil Engineering Technologists or the Association of Architectural Technologists. Excellent knowledge of municipal budgetary practices and processes ranging from initial development and up to controlling and reporting functions. Knowledge and ability to interpret and administer a multitude of regulations, laws, contractual agreements, policies and directives. Management and administrative skills in order to plan, manage and supervise the Asset Management Committee’ activities. Ability to analyze in order to introduce and implement programs, to identify and solve problems and to formulate policies and procedures related to asset management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both official languages. Ability to work well with administration and staff related to asset management. Basic knowledge of cartography (e.g. GIS, Google Earth, GPS). Experience with Microsoft suite software is required. Knowledge of Worktech and budget software would be an asset. Must have a valid driver's license.
