we could not deliver such a successful event. The quality of the nominations is a strong endorsement of the professionalism shown by FMB members daily. What is even more impressive is to consider the context of the last two years and the challenges the construction industry has faced. Rising material costs, uncertain financial markets and COVID recovery have all too often been business challenges FMB members have faced. But the resilience and integrity of FMB members have been seen in how they have conducted themselves, worked with clients and the supply chain and delivered outstanding projects. The judges, who are industry experts
independent from the FMB, were impressed with the dedication and skill of those who entered and were shortlisted for the ceremony. As you will see from the report in this edition, the ceremony was a tremendous success, combining networking, celebration and fun. It epitomises the sense of a building community that the FMB strongly endorses and it encourages others looking to grow their business to join. There are 11 categories, and the winners from each of the FMB regions go through to the national ceremony in September. We want to wish all those regional winners every success in that event and look forward to seeing how they do.
