Pilot Training With campuses in Daytona Beach, Florida and Prescott, Arizona, Embry-Riddle is the largest provider of collegiate flight training in the United States with the capabilities to assist the Department of Defense in addressing its pilot training needs. Additionally, Embry-Riddle is committed to a positive safety culture and is the only University to have attained the highest safety rating level, IS-BAO, which is integrated into the University’s operations. Embry-Riddle’s safety record in six times better than the overall flight training accident rate. Officer Training At Embry-Riddle, Air Force ROTC combines undergraduate education and military instruction, leading to a commission as an officer in the United States Air Force. Embry-Riddle has the largest non-military detachment in the Nation. The Naval ROTC Program, established in 2003, is the 4th largest in the nation and is the 2nd largest producer of officers among all NROTC programs. The Army ROTC Program was established in 1982 and has quickly become one of the nation’s leaders and has been names largest non-senior military college AROTC in the 6th BDE. As the world’s largest, oldest and most comprehensive University specializing in Aviation and Aerospace, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has had a long partnership with the United States Military and has dedicated itself to providing, facilitating and coordinating programs to meet the needs of active duty members of the Armed Forces, veterans, dependents and survivors of veterans.
