F ive days before Christmas in 1989, Sergeant William Delaney Gibbs from the Army's 7th Infantry Division was killed in action during Operation Just Cause in Panama, leaving be- hind a young wife and an unborn daughter. Our Co-founder and CEO, David Kim, served with Ser- geant Gibbs and was inspired by his sacrifice to es - tablish Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation as a way to honor the sacrifice of our fallen heroes and to help Delaney Gibbs’ daughter and the thousands of children like her.
