Dear Club Members, As the new CEO of Precious Moments Family of Companies, Inc., I’d just like to say how honored I am to lead a company with such an enthusiastic following. The Precious Moments Collectors’ Club ® has been around for more than four decades and still going strong – AMAZING! I, myself, am a veteran toy and gift industry executive and am excited to bring my expertise to Precious Moments. Along the way, I look forward to getting to know you as Club Members. I hope you interact with our social media accounts so we can continue creating gifts that allow you to Share the Gift of Love SM with those you care about (and to grow your collections). The next few months will bring refreshed new product lines that I know you will love. We are excited to share some of what is in the works for the 2022 holiday season with you here. I think you will see that the emphasis is on blending tradition with new ideas.
As you know, our Club theme this year is all about making your own kind of music. I think when we each play our own beat it starts to sync with those around us. Your music inspires mine, and mine improves yours, and then suddenly, we have a beautiful orchestra! It is a beautiful metaphor, and it is what I will strive to do as CEO. I encourage you to do the same in your own lives. Know that I am so grateful to have joined the team that has created this heritage brand and am invigorated by the many opportunities that lie ahead. A Room Filled With Precious Moments
Precious Moments ornaments perennially adorn this holiday tree.
My name is Lisa. I live in New York state with my loving husband of 25 years and our 4 wonderful children.My Precious Moments journey began when I was about 9 years old. My mom bought me my first Precious Moments Bible and a Friendship Hits The Spot nightlight. I still remember lying in bed as a little girl looking at all the beautiful pictures in my Bible. At that time, I didn't know very much about Precious Moments, but as I got older, I started to see them more and more and that is when my love for Precious Moments began. By the time I met my husband, I had about 100 Precious Moments items and from there, my collection grew exponentially. My husband has seen my true passion for the figurines, so we made a pact that it was going to be a journey we were going to do together. This past July, my husband and I purchased our first home and my husband said that the number one thing on the list when we looked for a house was one big enough to display my collection. He knew that it was very painful for me to have to keep them in boxes all the time and not be able to enjoy them. So the house we picked was big enough for me to have a huge space to finally display them. He is my biggest supporter and I love him for understanding what is an important part of my life. We even got our children involved with collecting so we had something fun that we could do together. Every time we go to the Chapel my kids are so excited to go, especially my 15-year-old son who is battling stage 4 kidney and bladder disease. He always tells me he finds great comfort and peace when he goes, which means so much to me. I find the same comfort and peace when I look at each figurine. I now have over 5,000 Precious Moments items including figurines, dolls, plates, crosses, and more. This passion I have for Precious Moments will be with me for the rest of my life. It is very important to me to show others what Precious Moments is about and what love they can bring to anyone who seeks it.

Into the MUSIC
with Hiko Maeda
Did you know that Precious Moments Master Sculptor Hiko Maeda enjoys playing the guitar? Since the 2022 Collectors’ Club theme is all about making your own kind of music, we asked Hiko what inspires him to play music in his free time. He especially likes rock music and has been a fan of Van Halen, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, and other music since he was a teenager. Hiko shares with us which music-themed figurine is his favorite, takes us on a trip back to the 80s rock music era and shares how music helps spark a connection in his marriage.
“This is me with the guitar I play the most. The other guitars are all more than 35 years old. Since my wife plays guitar, too, half are hers!”
