House Play One by one they knock on the door of incomparable detective Nero Wolfe, each with a case more perplexing than the one before. The boys chose interactive play Three Doors to Death , directed by Logan Quigley, for the House Plays Festival. Oscar Gosling took the lead role of Wolfe, accompanied on stage by Ben Westley, Charles Smith, Scott Gregan, George Simpson, James Higginson and Oliver Blackburn, with Max Goulter and Logan himself making appearances. The audience thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in this Cluedo style murder mystery, with the performance eliciting plenty of laughter. A large number of Richards House boys again participated in various productions throughout the year, taking on a variety of roles from on stage to backstage. The House Haka competition is a proud tradition that the boys fully engage with. Unfortunately, Richards House did not have the opportunity to make it three wins in a row this year. This is an opportunity for boys to step up, step out of their comfort zone and explore another aspect of what College is all about. Richards House has a very positive approach towards planning and practising for these events. Boys from all year levels not only participate, but also lead, and their commitment was very noticeable this year.
