Themes of first love, cliques and friendship, this time played out during holiday time as the team work and play together during their first summer jobs. We had a wild ride over the production period. Bringing HSM2 to the OBT stage was such a
pleasure. The students rose to each and every challenge placed in front of them and we were so proud of their talent, growth and “reach for the stars and sparkle” attitudes. We can’t wait to see what they get up to as they move on to our senior productions. Stand out performers included Oli Aikawa, Matthew Brett, Oscar Gosling and Ollie Jones, to name but four

Two years ago, High School Musical was a huge hit for Christ’s College and Rangi Ruru Girls’ School. The students loved performing it and we sold out the Merivale Lane Theatre for nine enthusiastic audiences. So, the next step seemed obvious. Give a new cohort of Year 9 and 10 students the chance to experience a similar joy with the next musical from the Disney franchise – High School Musical 2 . Not much changes.
