The AIF Cemetery at West Terrace serves as a final resting place for these courageous individuals, forever honouring their memory and the legacy they left behind. The first inland railway to open up this region reached out from Pt Wakefield to Hoyleton in 1871. An impressive stone goods shed was built to store the grain. The town of Hoyleton is still bypassed. Later the railway was extended to Blyth. We will visit the Medika Art gallery in the old Lutheran Church and spend the afternoon with an included lunch and an Australian classic film in the Blyth Cinema.
