HERITAGE WALKS & TOURS HISTORICAL WALK WITH BOB THE MURDER MAN Bob the murder man is from Historical Adelaide tours and is a historian with a passion for unravelling the mysteries of Adelaide’s darker past. Come and learn about a number of murders in the south- eastern corner in the city of Adelaide. The following tours will be taken by Denis Binnion AM and Trevor Feder BEd and leave from the WEA Centre by coach. A reasonable level of mobility and fitness is required for these coach tours. Throughout the day, there will be multiple stops where passengers must be able to board and disembark the coach without assistance. While each tour has a different itinerary, all tours require passengers to be able to walk independently during the day or weekend. Please also note that storage space for mobility aids cannot always be guaranteed.

AFGHAN EXPRESS & NORTHERN RAILWAYS Join popular historians for a weekend of railway nostalgia, culminating in a full day on the Pichi Richi Afghan Express from Port Augusta to Quorn and return. (Included in fee). On the first day you will call in to Balaklava which has an historic railway station and see the remains of the railway town of Bowmans. Next, call into the junction railway town and station of Snowtown. In Port Pirie you will have time to visit the Railway Museum in the classified Ellen Street Railway station built in 1902 in French empire style. You will also have time to visit the Art Gallery and Info Centre in the 1967 Pirie railway station and also look at some historic buildings in Port Augusta, Quorn and Port Pirie. Extensive history notes provided. Dinner, bed and cooked breakfast at the Standpipe Golf Motor Inn. Returning to WEA Centre at 8:45 pm on Saturday night.
