SCRUMPY - HOMEBREWED CIDER We will start at a very basic level and then look at adding sophisticated options. What we will make is simple (supermarket ingredients and minimal brewing equipment), cheap (about $1 per litre), quick (drinkable within a week) and genuinely nice (you can alter the recipes to suit your palate). You will be provided extensive notes, starter equipment, delicious tastings AND you will take home started cider. No prior brewing experience required. WINE & OTHER BEVERAGES EXPERIENCE CHADO (JAPANESE TEA CEREMONY) This class is presented by a qualified tea instructor from Japan. Learn an introductory knowledge of Chado; its history and fundamental characteristics, how to use special utensils and appreciate matcha tea. The teacher will give a demonstration of matcha tea making where students will learn how to whisk matcha tea correctly. These will be enjoyed with Japanese sweets.
