disappointing and noted the gelding did not jump particularly well racing up the hill in the back straight where there was softer going added, having joined the course proper and when balanced in the straight, his mount was able to run on well over the latter stages. 26/10/2024 M V Began awkwardly. Held up for clear running from the 500m until the 250m. 21/09/2024 CAUL Slow to begin. Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event.

Rider said he was held up behind weakening runners after travelling well. Added was disappointed for a run near the 300m and then was held up until 100m where his mount was then out of contention and not able to be properly tested. Quantum Cat (USA) 21/09/2024 CAUL Near the 300m attempted to obtain a position between Denmark and Flamin’ Romans, making contact with Flamin’ Romans before obtaining clear running approaching the 200m.

Near the 200m bumped. Near the 75m brushed with another runner. Rider explained with the moderate tempo he elected to improve his position near the 1200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. 23/10/2024 GEEL Raced wide and without cover until settling outside the leader near the 1200m.
