NCHEC was pleased to present The Value of Health Education Specialists: Exploring Career Options within the Profession, Part 4 on April 4, 2026. This moti-vational webinar built on the success of the series and offered participants a dynamic look at the expanding opportunities within the health education and promotion field. Panelists represented a diverse range of sectors, including mental health and wellness, academia and school health, healthcare and health communications, epidemiology, and community health. Each speaker shared a "day-in-the-life" perspective from their sector, discussed the essential skills needed for success, and provided practical advice for individuals entering or advancing within the profession.
8

The webinar concluded with an engaging live Q&A session, where panelists responded to thoughtful questions from attendees. The event offered a positive and encouraging outlook on the future of the health education workforce, underscoring the critical role both CHES® and MCHES® will continue to play across evolving public health landscapes.
