Board of Trustees Meeting Agenda | July 2021

Central Washington University Board of Trustees July 30, 2021 Action – Academic Year 2021-2022 Tuition Increase Approval

Washington State law, RCW 28B.15.067, limits the percent that CWU is allowed to increase resident undergraduate tuition to the 14-year average of wage inflation, which is currently 2.8 percent. The Board of Trustees has discretion on setting other types of tuition rates (non-resident undergraduate, resident and non-resident graduate). We recommend a 2.8 percent increase for all tuition types (resident and non-resident undergraduate, resident and non-resident graduate) for academic year 2021-2022.

The table below shows the annual increase in dollars across all careers and residencies.
