Rockland deviendra Las Vegas, le temps d’une soirée. La Fondation Valoris de Prescott-Russell organise une collecte de fonds intitulée U ne soirée à Las Vegas , le 2 février prochain, dès 19 h, au River Rock Inn à Rockland. « C’est la première fois qu’on organise une collecte de fonds comme celle-ci, a fait valoir Jean-Yves Léonard, membre de la fondation Valoris. Nous faisons venir des gens spécialisés dans le domaine des casinos. » Les participants pourront jouer à plusieurs jeux de style casino. De plus, ceux-ci auront la chance de remporter plusieurs prix. De la danse style Las Vegas fera aussi partie du rendez-vous. Tous les fonds amassés seront remis directement à la Fondation Valoris de Prescott- Russell. An Orleans woman received quite a gift on January 9. Hayley Twining received a travelling voucher worth $5000, an amount that she can use towards any destination. “We didn’t want the winner to be limited to where they can go,” explained Dana Desjardins, representing Read me Now Marketing Inc. (RMN), one of the instigators of the contest, along with Hyundai.
