Seabrae Manor Aged Care Autumn Newsletter 2026

Community Happenings Autumn Autumn was a season of milestones at Seabrae Manor, from the opening of Chapman House to two remarkable 100th birthdays, alongside all the outings, celebrations and everyday moments that make our community what it is. Welcome to Chapman House Chapman House opened its doors this quarter, and the first of us to move in have already made it home. The house is named after Janet Chapman, a long-serving leader whose work quietly shaped the way we care for one another today. It is a name chosen with real thought and real gratitude. The new house didn’t stay quiet for long, with active games soon in full swing and plenty of laughter and friendly competition to go with them.

Two 100th birthdays We had the pleasure of celebrating two 100th birthdays this season. Friends, family and staff gathered as Des marked his century and received recognition from the RSL and a message from the King and Queen. Mavis followed soon after, celebrating her own 100th birthday with family around her and a day full of cake, smiles and memories. Congratulations to them both. Their warmth and spirit are felt by everyone here.
