Travaillant sous l’autorité du Directeur des services récréatifs et loisirs et de l’opérateur de resurfaceuse, le/la titulaire sera responsable d’aider l’opérateur dans ses fonctions d’entretien journalier.
Dans ce poste, vous devrez :
• Aider à l’entretien et la réparation de la glace • Répondre aux besoins des utilisateurs • Effectuer l’entretien routinier (nettoyage) • Aptitude à travailler en équipe • Avertir l’opérateur de resurfaceuse des réparations qui s’avèreraient nécessaires • Effectuer diverses tâches assignées par l’opérateur

The Village of Casselman, is seeking the services of part-time Maintenace/Zamboni operators for the Recreation and Leisure activities department. Working under the authority of the Director of Recreation and Leisure Services, the incumbent will be responsible of the operation of the Zamboni and daily maintenance of the building.
Competencies and skills:
The successful candidate will have to:
• Ontario secondary school diploma or equivalent • Post secondary studies will be an asset • Zamboni operator certificate will be an asset • Refrigeration certification will be considered an asset • Good working knowledge of computers and software • Valid Driver’s licence
• Ensure the maintenance and repairs of the ice surface and solve problems related to the job description • Provide information to users • Share work duties and assign work duties with other maintenance employees • Be able to take decision and sound judgment • Do the daily maintenance and cleaning of the Complex’s equipment

• Helping the operator in his duties • Answer questions and provide information to users • Daily maintenance and cleaning • Team work ability • Inform the Zamboni operator on necessary repairs to equipment or building • Execute various tasks assigned by the Zamboni operator
