Senior School Sports Young Player of the Year
Paper Sculpture Club Miss Spall ’ s Year 7’ s have created some fantastic huge masks out of paper in their Friday afternoon Paper Sculpture Club. Here is the final result!
Tom in Year 11 has won the Somerset County Sports Young Player of the Year award. Tom received the award last Friday night from Max Waller at the Wyvern Club. Congratulations Tom!
Wassail This week we had a Wassail celebration in the garden of Wyvern House. Wassailing is an ancient tradition observed on Old Twelfth Night in Somerset, and other cider producing counties. The rituals involved in the mid - winter celebrations are carried out to ensure a good apple harvest for the coming year. Our pupils loved learning all about the traditional celebration, rituals and the warming mulled apple juice! There are more photos on Flickr.
