The Finances of the Institute It ha s always been the practi ce of the In stitute to make nu charge for tuiti on. From certain inYes tments there is a limited income fo r th e carry ing on of the work of the ] nsti tute, but ir, addit; on to thi s th ere is needed annuall y $ 100.000 fo r the main ­ tenance of the work . Thi s need is met each year by voluntary contribu t ions. a nd those who beli eve in the teachings fo r whi ch the Bibl e Institute stand s. a nd th e work whi ch it is doing in tra ining men and women fo r Chri st ian use fu lness . a nd in actually winning men to Chri st while they a re being thu s trained . a re earnestly requ est ed to help in the fina ncial needs of the Institu te . 1. By a contributi on to current expense . Either large or small amount s will be g ratefull y rece iYed, and wi ll ass ist mater­ ia l\\· in t he work. ? By a ssuming the expen se o f train:ng a stud ent for on~ year. Thi s mean s donating to the Institute. not the cos t of hi s room and board , but the pro rata cost of hi s instructi on, i. e.. $ 175. 3. By found ing a permanent fund fo r the trai ning of a stud ent , (as in paragraph 2 ) which fund may bear the name of the donor . if so des ired . -1-. By endowing a Scholarship. the income fr om wh' ch will meet the expense of a stud ent for room and board. See page 89 . 5. By investino- in the Institute on the Annuity P lan. ee page 90 . 6 . By remembering "Bibl e Institute of Los Angeles " m a last will and testament. See page 9:2 .
